In 2018, there were an estimated 22,240 new cases of ovarian cancer diagnosed, and an estimated 14,070 deaths from ovarian cancer in the United States alone. The overall estimate of 1,735,350 cases for 2018 equals more than 4,700 new cancer diagnoses each day. How will you react when one of your most precious clients explains they cannot see you next week because they have been diagnosed with cancer?
 
Just how can you help them and what are the steps you need to take to help them through the next several months while they go through treatment and remission?  This class will deliver information regarding risks factors, side effects, medications and effects on clients, skin reactions, treatment protocols, self protection, and specialties that you may offer as a knowledgable aesthetician.  During the second half of the second day, you will be performing a mock/or actual facial treatment for present day oncology patients, with including facial protocols and products.
